Innovelop ("we", "us") is an independent software developer based in Cape Town, South Africa. This policy explains what personal information we collect through home.innovelop.org and how we handle it. We've kept it short because we collect very little.
The short version
Browsing this site collects no personal information. The only time we collect personal data is when you choose to submit our feedback form. If you never send feedback, we never collect anything about you.
What we collect — only via the feedback form
When you submit feedback, we receive and store:

| A one-way hash of your IP address | Basic abuse prevention. We never store your actual IP address — only an irreversible hash of it. |

How we use it
We use your submission solely to read, understand, and respond to your feedback. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
To run the feedback form, your submission passes through two service providers who act as our data processors:
- Supabase — securely stores the feedback in a database.
- Resend — delivers the feedback to us by email.
These providers process the data only to provide their service to us. We do not share your information with anyone else, except where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
We retain feedback for as long as it remains useful for improving our apps, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and similar laws elsewhere, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've submitted. To make a request, email privacy@innovelop.org and we'll action it.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
